Baby's Evening Walk
Today's weather was cloudy but quite windy. It is a good weather for an evening walk. Thus, we put ZY on his stroller, and enjoy ourselves very much walking around in this playground in our neighbourhood.

Wesak Day
It's Wesak Day (19th May), which is a public holiday. Hence, we have decided to have our vegetarian lunch at "Tien Hau" Temple, Seputih. We have wonderful moments together with baby here. It reminds us of the time we had our ROM (Registration of Marriage) there in year 2005. It also reminds us that we have visited to this temple one week before baby ZY was born. We feel excited to have visited the temple this time together with ZY. :)
We reach there around 11.30am & there were a lot of cars parking along the hill side, not to mention the crowd praying in the temple. There were a lot of people taking photos around the temples too... And, we joined the crowd... haha..

Baby's Return to Seremban
Last Saturday (17th May), we had brought our baby back to my hometown at Seremban for holiday. Its been 3 months since baby last visit to "Tai Ma" & "Tai Po".
On that night, we invited baby's "Tai Ma" for a dinner near our house. The dinner was great, baby Zheng Yuan was very cooperative (didn't cry) and we are able to have an enjoyable dinner. After the dinner, we had a small photo session in our house... :P

Baby @ 4 months old
Today baby ZY is 4 months old (according to Chinese calender). There are still some Chinese practises the customary when the baby is 4 months old. My wife's family is one of them, and we have decided to follow.
My wife has started cooking the porridge using slow cooker the night before to make sure the porridge is as smooth as possible.

Early this morning, she went to market to look for the ingredient needed. She has bought the "tongue fish" (to be pan fried and the meat is to be smashed and mixed into the porridge). If can't find the tongue fish, it can be replaced by other type of fish.
This is how tongue fish looks like: -

She has also bought some "Taugeh" and "KuChai". These ingredient are to be cooked, and the KuChai is used to tie a bunch of taugeh together.

She has also turned a bunch of "Marrie biscuits" into a necklace using a red string ...

And, now the ceremony has begun...
1st: Put on the biscuit necklace to baby, and let him bite on it. (He seems to enjoy the biscuits, and had had a few small bites of the biscuits... )

2nd: Rub baby's gum with Taugeh+KuChai (They said this will cool the gum and baby will feel better during teething time ...)

3rd: Add the smashed fish meat into the porridge and feed baby with the porridge

4th: Had a hair cut (or bald him?) hahah... Baby is behaving well during the hair cut... I like the way he looks after the hair cut! Haha...

And we are done with the ceremony! :D

SuperBoy !
Up, Up & FLY! Here comes our baby flying in the air.
Haha... He seems to enjoy it when I hold him and fly him around... This evening seems like a good evening, so we have brought ZY with us to walk around the garden and playground nearby. He has been attracted by the tree we have planted outside the house, just keep looking and keep looking at it.. haha..

Mother's Day
It's Mother's Day! Me & my sister had bought a cake (moist non-sugar chocolate butter cake) from Secret Recipe for the Mother's day celebration. My wife had also prepared the dinner -> delicious steamboat at home. We prefer to eat at home as we know for sure that most of the restaurant will be fully booked! :)
Here are some of the photos taken during the dinner ...
Yummy! Yummy!

Featuring the Mothers... and the cake too! :p
